Description	:	Verse: Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a very happy new year Notes: The original Boston Light, located on Little Brewster Island in Boston Harbor, began operation in September 1716. Destroyed by the British in June of 1776, it was rebuilt in 1783. The distinctive six heavey iron bands were added in 1809 when dangerous cracks in the tower were discoverd.
